A few months ago I was blessed with the opportunity to shoot a few very big events in Los Angeles. The night before my first assignment, I decided to step outside of my hotel room and grab something to eat. After my quick meal, I grabbed my camera and walked around “LA LIVE” (Across the street from the Staples Center) and downtown to capture some random images. The fun part of photography is capturing images that NO ONE ELSE is putting a standard on. Working for clients sometimes puts a stop on creativity because they are looking for a certain look and that look doesn’t always go with our “eye”. Does that make sense? In essence, random photography is by far the most interesting and rewarding kind of photography that any photographer could ever do. I am intrigued by lights and buildings and LA did not disappoint. Here are a few images that I captured around midnight. I can’t even lie and say that I wasn’t nervous. I was by myself and one of the biggest cities in the country… LA is GANGSTA! lol… Anyways, enjoy these random images that NO ONE has ever seen.
