I had the honor of shooting Jamie and Kemper Johnson’s beautiful family. Jamie and Kemper met about 15 years ago on the campus of The University of Oklahoma. Since then, they have shared love, romance, and have enjoyed life with their three beautiful children. Kemper, a soldier in the US Army, was based in Kentucky when he received orders that they would be relocating to Washington State. They decided to make the cross country trek by car and decided to stop in their native Oklahoma at the halfway point. During their tenure in Oklahoma, they decided to do a family photo shoot at the place where it all started. We decided to hit landmarks that were special to their relationship. From the Oklahoma Memorial Union to Dale Hall, no place at O.U. was left uncovered and “unshot“. <--- is that even a word? lol.. Anyways, here are a few of my favorite images. The shoot was extremely fun to say the least. The kids definitely took the show (especially the youngest one) just like every family shoot that I do. After we broke the ice, their personalities began to shine through like the sun during the beautiful day. For this shoot, I really wanted to concentrate on colors of the beautiful greenery and blue skies.
Thanks to the Johnson family for trusting me with your photos! Concepts Productions is now booking family shoots for the remaining of the summer! Please email to get pricing and availability!! jwiggins@conceptsproductions.com
